Commitment to Education: Chief of the Songo Administrative Post visits HCB International School

The Hidroeléctrica de Cahora Bassa (HCB) International School welcomed a visit on Friday 5 February from the Chief of the Songo Administrative Post, The Honourable Josina Mafunga. Accompanied by her delegation, the visit was marked by dialogue and the recognition of the progress achieved by the institution.
The Chief of the Administrative Post was received by the School Director, Dr Raisi Dominic, and members of the Board, who presented the new dynamics currently underway at HCBIS – a phase characterised by pedagogical innovation and the strengthening of educational quality.
During the visit, the Chief of the Songo Administrative Post had the opportunity to observe first-hand the progress made by the school, most notably the introduction of the Cambridge curriculum. This represents a significant step in the institution's internationalisation process and the reinforcement of globally recognised academic standards.
Satisfied with the progress observed, the Chief of the Songo Administrative Post encouraged the Board and the entire school community to continue working with dedication and vision, reinforcing the role of education as a fundamental pillar for the development of Songo and the country as a whole.
